I haven't blogged in a while. We have been busy! Vern finally has his airplane at his new home "Wasilla Airport." His Dad flew it out here last Friday, Vern was beside himself I think! I saved the message he left me on my phone to say that Dad was airborne. He spent all weekend working on it down at the airport. Good thing we live close cause I did have to make a couple runs down there to bring him tools. I have to say he is devoted. It was so cold down there with the wind blowing.

Friday while Vern was busy with the airplane Deana and I headed to Anchorage for shopping, lunch, and my Dr. appointment. Shopping was a success, thanks to the clearance rack at Nordstroms. I got my new coach purse for summer! YEAH. Vern wasn't impressed, but he has his airplane.
We added a new piece for furniture to our living room. Thanks to Mark (Matt Medinas Brother). We had him build us a book shelf. It turned out awesome. It was way more then I expected. I can't wait till we have him build a desk and shelves to match it. He does fabulous work!!!! Simply amazing.
Vern has been busy studying for his ground school. He is hoping to start flying Friday!!! Wish him luck!!
Well Biggest Loser is on so I am off to watch my one TV show a week! Take Care All!

That plane is just SOOO cool. I wish that I was related and could share it with him...haha. The new purse is a great color for summer...if it ever arrives. I love that bookshelf too! You are not kidding when you say he does great work. Have Vern do posts everytime he has a lesson. I did that and it was so fun to go back and read them and I printed those posts to mail out to my grandpa and he loved 'em. PLUS, it will help me refresh what I've learned and maybe give me the motivation to find a babysitter to get mine finished. Just tell him that I'M BEGGING HERE! :) Have a great day.
Oh my goodness, I don't even know where to begin!! The plane is nice. The purse is totally my "fav" and the bookshelf is stunning!!
