Long Weekend....Great Dr.'s Appointment

We received a call Sat. morning that Vern's dad and uncle were in a plane crash. Thank God they are both OK. They truly have guardian angels. We are so thankful they are OK and our thoughts and prayers go out to Gary's family. We are sorry for the life lost. Here is the full story:

Sunday was a relaxing day and we made a trip to the airshow in Anchorage. That was the first time I had been there and it was very fun and interesting to see all the different airplanes.

Monday, Mom and I headed to Anchorage for some shopping, girls time, and Dr.'s appointment. It was a fun day and long over-due. Our Dr.'s appointment went great. Little girls heart beat was 162 and she was movin' and shakin'. Everything checked out great for me too, so that was nice. Our next Dr.'s appointment is May 28th and we get a 3d/4d ultrasound then. I can't wait for that. Vern gets to go to that one with me. Then after that my appointments go to every two weeks already, I can't believe the time has flown by that fast, but I am not complaining. If I had it my way August would be here tomorrow. We can't wait to meet our new addition.

This week has pretty much just been work. Tomorrow I am off to Anchorage for a day of shopping with Tishe and Shannon. Can't wait to spend the day with those girls.

This weekend is going to be relaxing and packing. Vern leaves Monday for a couple weeks of work out of town. It always stinks when he is gone, but it doesn't happen often, which we are very thankful for, but we manage. Hopefully the weather will cooperate this weekend and we can get some work done outside to make our house look pretty.
