Well the elections are over. Not the results I was hoping for, but all we can do is hope that our future is headed in the right direction no matter who is in office! Mr. Obama has a long road ahead of him to fix our economy so I guess we will see what happens.
Vern and I have just been busy working. So glad there is only one more get-up, tomorrow is Friday! The darkness is getting to us the older we get I think. It is tought to get up in the morning when the alarm goes off at 5:30am.
Vern got goodies in the mail yesterday! He receieved all of his information for his Ground School so he can learn to fly. He wants me to learn with him. So I guess you could say we are going back to school.....Ground School. Vern says we can be Ground School Sweethearts. HAHA We will keep you posted on our schooling.
Still haven't bought an airplane yet. He is looking at a couple different ones. But nothing forsure yet!
13 Days till I leave for Hawaii. I can't wait. I will miss Vern but us girls are going to have a BLAST!
Tomorrow night is wine tasting, we went last year and it was a blast so I am sure fun will be had by all this year.
Mom and I are off to Anchorage on Sat. to buy more block making supplies, and do some shopping for Hawaii stuff!

I have all of the ground school books sitting on a shelf collecting dust...ughhh. I'm very jealous of you two right now. I want details on your flight instruction! Have fun this weekend, and tell your momma that I want to make a few of those blocks for my kids' night lights, so I need some pointers!
They make awesome night lights. I will tell her you need pointers! I will keep you posted on flight instruction. Did you actually fly or were you just doing ground school??????
Well, I'm so happy that you are going to Hawaii and am so JEALOUS! I can't wait to see your pictures and hear all about it! I bet you own a plane too!! Sorry we never got tickts to the wine tasting . . . maybe next year. I'm looking forward to our "date" next Thursday and then wine bottling Saturday. Then you will be gone . . . bad for me but good for you!! Have a fun filled weekend!
