It is finally warming up!!!!!!!! YEAH

We had a great weekend! Friday Vern went and moved the plane that he is trying to buy. It needed to be moved from the ski strip to closer to the hanger of Holiday Air because they are going to look at it today hopefully and do a pre-buyers report. That way we will know if anything is wrong with it. Hopefully it will be good to go. Then Friday evening we met Amy and Geary for dinner at Garcia's and it was FABULOUS! On the way there Vern stopped and showed me the plane and I am so bummed that I didn't get out and take any pictures. I would have if I would have thought about it but the -25 degree temp. makes a person not want to go outside!
Sat. Vern studied all day on his pilot's license. While I ran errands and had a great lunch and visit with Deana at Chepo's! Then we went and got Amy and went to Chili's while Matt had to work. Chili's ended up being an all night affair. After Vern had 5 Texas Teas( Like a long island ice tea) and Amy had 4 they were both Texas Toast! LOL It was a great fun though. I was the DD so I sipped on water most of the night. Dinner was great though and the stories were fun too! Vern says he is the DD from now on! LOL
Sunday was off to church and running errands. Vern was a little sluggish.....well lets just say a lot sluggish! HAHA
Not a lot going on here. Other then just trying to stay warm. We are finally above zero now and it is like t-shirt weather. Well not quite but close!
Vern wanted to take a picture of the temp. while we were at the cabin. The house is set at 70 degrees and it even got down to 64.8. I don't know how people in Fairbanks do it! They had minus 64 last week! No Thanks!!!!

I'm really not bummed that we are not there right now. I've decided that I'm still not much of a winter person....spring and fall are my favorites. Vern will be flying before me for sure...I've still not done anything else.
